Biographie
Upon receiving his first guitar at thirteen, AfroDiziac began a musically led lifestyle. Engulfed by youthful aspirations, he thrived and flourished within his home stomping grounds of New York City's Lower East Side, leading his first band by fifteen.
Honed, skilled, and seeking new perspectives, AfroDiziac arrived in London determined to further develop what he calls a sonic fingerprint. Drawn to the explosive, high-energy rawness hailing from the schools of Rock n' Roll to the churches of rhythm and blues, a penchant for provocative grooves and heavy guitars emerged a darker more intuitive sound; a voice that would later become AfroDiziac”.
Vividly expressive on his instrument, the rising star has earned an Endorsement from Gibson Guitars with placement in their 2025 Artist Spotlight Roster, Marshall Amplification, Levy Straps and Gator Cases, and featured in Guitar World Magazine as Dave Kushner’s (Velvet Revolver) pick for Best New Artist and Song of 2024 with his single, “Nightingale”.
In 2026 he performed with Bill Burr, Jelly Roll, Nick Valensi (The Strokes), Jason Mraz, as part of Josh Adam Meyers’ “The Goddamn Comedy Jam” at the legendary Roxy Theatre LA and Moontower Comedy Festival Austin, Tx. while also performing his music as guest for Kill Tony at the Comedy Mothership and Smart Financial Centre (Houston).
Having served as support for Joe Bonamassa’s Black Country Communion with Glenn Hughes and Jason Bonham, he’s also toured with The Darkness, and The Boss Hoss, toured the UK twice (headliner), and performed at Orange Blossom (twice) and Open R festivals, AfroDiziac has built a trajectory of an artist on the rise one show at a time. His debut album, “Vanity Affair” received a 5/7 score in MetalHammer and is set to release his new single “Out of Line” Autumn 2026.
With a rapidly growing fanbase and support from industry leaders such as: Joe Rambock (FKP Area One), Niko Ploetz (Semmel Concerts) and Bill Burr’s consistent support across social media, AfroDiziac is already bringing his signature sound to the world.
